Reflective Questions

  1. Think of an occasion where you have been interviewed for whatever purpose. What question types can you recognise were used? How did different questions make you feel?
  2. What experiences have you had of using different question types on placement? How did the service user react to them?
  3. You have been asked to visit a 40 year old man who is an alcoholic and currently lives in a men's shelter. He mentions to you that he wants to live independently. Consider a list of questions you would like to ask him about this, using different question types.
