FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions about the Social Work Toolkit. If your question is not answered below, please feel free to contact us at socialworktoolkit@bloomsbury.com.

How much does it cost?

We quote prices individually for each institution. Pricing is tiered depending on the number of students. We are happy to send you a quote for an annual subscription tailored to the situation in your institution. Asking for a quote is free and does not commit you in any way.

Who can subscribe?

Access to the Social Work Toolkit is available for institutional subscription. Please contact us at socialworktoolkit@bloomsbury.com if you are interested in finding out more. We'll be happy to let you know if colleagues at your institution have already been in touch. Unfortunately, the Social Work Toolkit is not currently available for individuals to purchase. If you're an individual who would like to use the site, please email your librarian or head of department asking them to get in touch.

How do students access the Toolkit?

The Social Work Toolkit is available for institutional subscription so all staff and students are able to access, on campus and remotely. This can be through a number of options such as IP access (including proxy IP), OpenAthens, Shibboleth or referral URL from a secure portal, intranet or VLE. We will be happy to discuss with you the best option for making the Social Work Toolkit available and visible to all your students.

Is the Social Work Toolkit mobile compatible?

Yes. The Social Work Toolkit can be accessed via a browser across a range of mobile devices or desktop computers.

Does the Social Work Toolkit meet accessibility standards?

The Social Work Toolkit has been developed in line with W3C guidelines for accessibility, and content can be accessed using a screen reader and keyboard navigation if required.
