After considering this resource, you should understand the importance of reflective practice in the workplace.

Reflective practice is vital in ensuring your practice is not based on routine or even guesswork. Practising reflectively at a basic level allows you to consider what went well with a case, what could be improved upon and to consider emotions which a case may have stirred, all with the hope that these lessons can develop you as a practitioner. However, with heavy workloads demanding your attention, is reflective practice a practical reality?
